In response to her own grief, Pamela Eaton (formerly Pamela Creel) founded Carolina Monuments in 1991. Gary Benton, a skilled monument builder, partnered with her in that effort. Early in the process, she realized the value of that quest as many clients' eyes filled with tears of joy in response to her designs.
Soon thereafter they married and the following year had a son, Randall Benton.
Randall is now independently studying the work of master craftsmen and leaders in the monument industry. He is vehemently honing skills and techniques into a style all his own and is not only taking Carolina Monuments to a new generation, but to a new level of distinction.
The work being produced by this mother/son duo is receiving compliments within the industry and is especially appreciated by their customers.
